Sports environments create unique risks regarding the safety and welfare of participants. Whilst some progress has been made to protect children, far less has been done in the UK to protect sportspeople over 18 from sexual violence.

Here at Kyniska Advocacy, we believe that the safety of athletes is paramount.

We have written this report to bring attention to the issue whilst providing solutions to make sport safe for everyone.

Acting on the recommendations in this report would improve the safety of all athletes, of any age and at all levels.
